Flagler Museum
In 1902, Henry Flagler built the Gilded Age estate,
Whitehall, for his wife Mary Lily Kenan in Palm Beach.
Architects Carrère and Hastings designed Whitehall
in the Beaux-Arts style made popular at the 1893 World's
Columbian Exposition in Chicago. Today, Whitehall is
a National Historic Landmark and is open to the public
as the Flagler Museum.
